Speechless Brothers: Speechless Brothers CD-R $3
Scalding drum-guitar instrumental duo action that is always on the verge of blowing up! If it is not, in fact, blowing up.
Obvious hat-tips to Ash Ra Tempel's first album, Sandy Bull's "Blend", classic New Zealand crumble-drone sounds and even surf-rock, but this is a pretty unique sound.
Featuring 2/3 of Yuma Nora, 1/12 or so of Gang Wizard, 1/1 of Celesteville, 1/4 of Hux, and 1/6 of the Reyna siblings. (Okay: Jake and Aaron.)
Cover is hand-mimeographed (as always) with some (faint) semblance of actual two-color printing on the front cover!
What does "Speechless Brothers" mean? It is apparently a term the Aymara Indians of Lake Titicaca have for llamas. Totally recommended: Rosana Hart's Living with Llamas.
